International Lego Day 2026

We celebrate International LEGO Day today, which was designated to commemorate the filing of the patent for the LEGO brick system in 1958. Since then, the small plastic brick has become an iconic symbol of creativity and imagination. Did you know that builders from all over the world submit their ideas for the chance to turn their designs into sets?

Here at KDHRC, many of our staff members are collectors and builders themselves, so we had to join in the fun! We were happy to create our own minifigures to reflect our personalities both individually and as a team! Whether you’re a builder with bins of bricks in the attic or one who admires brick art from afar, International LEGO Day celebrates all kinds of imagination. We’re reminded that the most exciting and impressive accomplishments—big projects, meaningful partnerships, and lasting impact—are built from small building blocks working together.

Happy International LEGO Day from the KDHRC team!
