May is Lupus Awareness Month
May is Lupus Awareness Month and, at KDHRC, we’re honored to stand with individuals living with lupus and those who support them.
KDHRC is proud to work alongside dedicated partners to expand awareness, education, and support for lupus communities.
In partnership with the American College of Rheumatology, we support programs like TIMELY, SHOP, RHOP, and CHOP, which equip community health workers, school nurses, and physicians with essential lupus knowledge, resources, and strategies to raise awareness and support their communities more effectively.
In partnership with Lupus Therapeutics, we evaluate programs like PALS Trial Buddy and PALS Early Education, which provide individuals with lupus the tools, guidance, and sense of community they need when navigating clinical trial.
Lupus doesn’t just affect people in May, and neither does our commitment. Every day of the year, we’re inspired by the strength of the lupus community and are dedicated to making a meaningful impact through our research, programs, and partnerships.
