KDHRC program receives award from the Institute for Healthcare Advancement (IHA)

En Familia: Families Partnering for Health received an IHA Award at the Fourteenth Annual IHA Health Literacy Conference in Irvine, California on May 8, 2015. The IHA Health Literacy Awards recognize efforts to empower people to better health through improved health literacy. The En Familia program is the winning entry in the Innovative Programs category, which includes activities and programs that demonstrate innovative, workable, and effective solutions to improve health literacy.
