KDHRC attends and exhibits at the National RX Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit in Atlanta

With the continued opioid epidemic, attending this year’s summit was particularly important and engaging.  Staffers connected with professionals from local, state, and federal agencies, business, academia, and community organization to discuss prevention and treatment methods. While there, we distributed hundreds of copies of POP-D, KDHRC’s prescription drug curricula for middle-school aged youth.  To learn more about POP-D, visit the program page.
