Dexter Cooper joined KDH Research & Communication as a Project Operations Manager in January of 2020. Dexter has research experience that focuses on health disparities, cancer, and men’s health in a community-based participatory research framework. His professional experience includes evaluating projects created to promote healthy behaviors, such as physical activity and smoking prevention, within predominately African American communities. He has presented scientific research at various scientific conferences and involved in several publications. He has also helped students develop research and manuscript writing skills.
Mr. Cooper has a Master’s in Public Health from Morehouse School of Medicine with a specialization in Social and Behavioral Sciences. He has worked in leading and well-known public health organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Cancer Society, and Morehouse School of Medicine.
In his free time, Dexter enjoys working out, attending or watching sporting events, and hanging out with family and friends.
