Annie McNeill, MPH

Project Operations Manager

When Annie joined KDHRC, she was excited to support the research teams on various public health projects. Annie graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry, and minors in Biology and Psychology. She also received an M.P.H. in Epidemiology with a concentration in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. During graduate school, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University School of Medicine. She was thrilled to learn about KDHRC and fully use her background to support the health of many populations.

Her favorite parts of her job are working on a variety of projects with different topics, brainstorming new ideas for proposals and turning them into funded projects, and regularly collaborating with other organizations. She is also first in line to volunteer to proofread proposals and reports. Annie is also very competitive and thoroughly enjoys playing trivia with her coworkers.

In her free time, Annie enjoys trying new restaurants, walking the Atlanta Beltline with friends, going to concerts, and spending time with her rescue dog Dash, a yorkie/Australian shepherd mix.
