Module 1: Impact of tooth decay on children and adolescents

- Recognize the signs of healthy teeth and soft tissue
- Understand the causes of poor oral health and tooth decay in primary and permanent teeth
- Understand the physical, psychosocial, and economic impact of tooth decay on children and their families
- Describe the social determinants of health and oral health disparities among Black children
