Areas of focus: research and program evaluation, tobacco prevention, health communications
Zheng (Ashley) Xue joined KDHRC in August 2020 as a Tobacco Strategist II, working on the FDA’s mass media youth, anti-tobacco campaign, “The Real Cost.” She collaborates with FDA and advertising agencies to ensure consistent accuracy and quality of campaign messages. Currently, she has been helping conduct qualitative research including in-depth interviews and copy testing to evaluate various campaigns.
Ashley received her Master of Science in Public Health degree from Emory University, concentrated in Health Policy and Health Services Research. Before joining KDHRC, she worked as a Data Analyst in the Economic and Health Policy Research Program at the American Cancer Society, conducting surveillance research on monitoring tobacco use and tobacco control policy.
In her free time, Ashley enjoys hiking, rock-climbing, and dance fitness.
