Areas of Focus: Health communication, health literacy, and tobacco prevention
Tola is a research associate at KDHRC, working on the Food and Drug Administration’s “The Real Cost” mass media youth anti-tobacco campaign. She provides expertise to inform, conceptualize, revise, and vet scientifically accurate, innovative messaging content.
Tola received her MPH in Behavioral Science and Epidemiology from Saint Louis University and an MS in Health Communications from Tufts University. Prior to working at KDHRC, she worked at the Boston Public Health Commission where she managed several state and federal grants in areas including tobacco prevention, injury prevention, asthma, and substance abuse prevention.
Tola is a major foodie and she enjoys finding the best restaurants in various cities.
