Areas of Focus: chronic disease prevention, vulnerable populations
Nikki joined KDHRC in March 2019 as a research assistant, working to support the research teams on national and state level public health projects. Her work primarily focuses on content development, qualitative data analysis, and management of day-to-day project tasks.
Nikki graduated from the College of Charleston with a BS in Public Health and received an MSPH in Epidemiology from the University of South Carolina. During graduate school, she worked as a graduate assistant with the SC Department of Health and Environmental Control’s Children with Special Health Care Needs Division and with USC’s Cancer Prevention and Control Program.
In her free time, Nikki enjoys exploring new hiking trails, spending time with family and friends, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
