Maria joined KDHRC in October 2018 as a project operations manager, working to support the research teams in meeting and exceeding project delivery goals. She has experience in project operations and policy analysis, having previously worked for the Mayor of Atlanta’s Office of Innovation and Performance as well as the Boston Public Health Commission.

Maria received a B.A. in Anthropology and Community Health from Tufts University. Upon graduation, she provided support to a local non-profit organization as an Americorps Resident in Social Enterprise. She also worked as a research assistant for the Disparities Solutions Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. Maria went on to receive an M.P.H. from Harvard University with a concentration in social and behavioral sciences, during which time she interned with the U.S. Government Accountability Office for her practicum.

In her spare time, Maria enjoys baking, going to concerts, and traveling.
