Areas of Focus: vulnerable populations, drug abuse education and prevention, Latino health
Annie joined KDHRC in January 2020 as a Project Operations Manager, working to support the research teams on various public health projects. She manages project tasks and timelines, reviews content, and ensures the production of deliverables. At present, Annie oversees projects in three different areas: vulnerable populations, drug abuse education and prevention, and Latino health.
Annie graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.S. in Chemistry/Biochemistry, and minors in Biology and Psychology. She also received an M.P.H. in Epidemiology with a concentration in Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology from Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University. During graduate school, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Department of Human Genetics at Emory University School of Medicine.
In her free time, Annie enjoys trying new restaurants, walking the Atlanta Beltline with friends, and going to concerts.
